About Me

Personal

I was born and raised in Portugal. My family moved to Wisconsin when I was in Junior High. After graduating from Carthage College with a BA in Marketing and International Business I moved to Chicago, Illinois. My husband and I were very fortunate to be given a contract to work in Singapore for a few years. We enjoyed working and discovering new worlds and after that we were ready to come back home and start a family. California seemed like a much warmer and sunny place to live so we headed west. We have lived in La Quinta for the past 12 years and have enjoyed our Desert lifestyle so much that becoming a realtor seemed like the best way for me to work and share what I love. My current hobbies include spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering with various programs at my son's school. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful community with so much to do that I want to share it with everyone that I meet.

Professional

Before becoming a Realtor Fatima worked in Management and Marketing. She always chose careers which dealt with people. Real estate seemed like a natural progression since Fatima could share her love for the Valley with everyone she met. In Real Estate she found a career that allowed her to make lifelong friendships while helping clients find just the perfect place to live. Fatima has been a successful Realtor helping her clients buying and selling the perfect homes since 2004.

When the market started to change, Fatima decided to specialize in short sales and distressed properties in the California and Hawaii markets in order to be able to best assist her clients with what was occurring in the Market place. Unlike most Realtors who are newcomers to the complexities of short sales, Fatima is an experienced pro with a proven track record of getting families out from under distressed properties with zero out-of-pocket expenses.  Although no one can ever guarantee that you will be able to get out of your loan with a No Deficiency Judgment, so far 100% of our clients have done just that. Out of hundreds of cases, we have closed 97% successfully while the industry national standard is about 56%.

Knowledge is power and banks prefer to work with dedicated, licensed, and seasoned Real Estate Professionals who have years of successfully closed transactions. Don’t expose yourself and your family to unnecessary risks when facing bad loans and difficult financial situations. You will only have one shot at doing this right. Demand an experienced Realtor with a proven track record in short sales who knows how to get the job done right.
